Description
The Finance Associate will be primarily responsible for economic valuation, financial modelling, and summary outputs going to company management and the board of directors.
Qualifications
Essential job functions and responsibilities include the following:
• Building financial models in Microsoft Excel
• Conducting scenario analysis based on various inputs and assumptions
• Forecasting levered and unlevered cash flows
• Valuations based on DCF analysis, EBITDA multiples, etc.
• Forecasting short and long-term revenues based on various assumptions
• Forecasting long-term opex, G&A, and capex based on scenarios
• Variance analysis between actuals and forecasted financials
• Additional modelling support as needed
• Demonstrates excellent leadership and professional presence with a confident and approachable personality
• Handles details, access to information and conversations of a highly sensitive nature in strict confidence
• Proactively responds to a wide variety of requests with expeditious action and with a positive, consultative approach
• Detail oriented
• Manage the day-to-day workflow as well as possess confidence and strong communication skills to interface with all levels of staff
• Some after-hours availability via email or mobile phone may be required
• Accomplish job responsibilities/duties in accordance with WTG’s Core Values
• Other duties as assigned
Computer Skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint are a must.
Required Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum three years of accounting and/or finance experience
• Excellent oral and written communication
Preferred Experience
• Oil & Gas industry experience
• Preferred three years of accounting and/or finance experience
